Bruce Tarbox is an experienced and well respected criminal defense lawyer with offices in Oregon City and Portland, Oregon. Admitted to the Oregon State Bar in 2000, Bruce Tarbox began his legal career as a criminal defense lawyer at Rieke & Savage, P.C., where he represented indigent clients in all manner of misdemeanor and felony criminal proceedings. After gaining a wealth of motion and trial experience, Mr. Tarbox opened his own legal practice in 2002, with a focus on defending those accused of traffic crimes.

Since 2002, as the owner of Bruce Tarbox, P.C.. Bruce Tarbox has represented hundreds of clients accused of traffic violations and crimes – including successful defenses at trial of those accused of Manslaughter I, Manslaughter II, Felony Eluding, Theft, Possession/Delivery/Manufacturing Controlled Substances, Assault, Reckless Endangering, Reckless Driving, Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants (DUII) and various other crimes arising out of the operation of a motor vehicle.

A graduate of Brown University (A.B., 1989) and Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College (J.D., 1999), he is a veteran of the United States Marine Corps and a former river guide/instructor at the Nantahala Outdoor Center in Bryson City, North Carolina. In his free time he enjoys coaching youth soccer, snowboarding, and canoeing and camping with friends and family.
