Joseph graduated from Boston University in 1986 with his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He then went to New England School of Law earning his Juris Doctor degree in 1989.
His concentration practice area is Criminal Law. Mr. Voccola has been selected by the National Trial Lawyers as one of their top 100. He has been consistently recognized as being ranked in the top 10 in in his field by the National Academy of Criminal Defense Attorneys, the American Institute or Criminal Law Attorneys and the American Jurist Institute. He has been honored with awards from the American Registry, Lawyers of Distinction for Personal Injury and the American Institute of Criminal Defense Attorneys for client satisfaction.
In 2020, Mr. Voccola received a Lifetime Achievement Award in recognition and appreciation of exemplary accomplishments and contributions in the field of law from the Top 100 Registry of Business Leaders and Professionals. He’s also a recipient of America’s Top 100 Lawyers Lifetime Achievement Award. In 2022, Mr. Voccola had the honor of being singled out as a member of the top 1% of the National Association of Distinguished Counsel.
