Kenneth Gleria graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, and studied law at the University of Utah of Law. Mr. Gleria is licensed in New Mexico and Utah and established in practice in Albuquerque in 1997. He practices exclusively in the area of criminal defense. Mr. Gleria is a member of the United States Supreme Court, the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico. Mr. Gleria is an active member of the United States District Court’s Criminal Justice Act (CJA) Panel of Attorneys, and has handled over 900 cases in Federal Court for clients charged with nearly every type of federal criminal offense. Kenneth Gleria is a member the United States District Court’s CJA Panel Committee, in which he is responsible for making recommendations to the Court regarding matters relating the defense of indigent criminal defendants in Federal Court. Mr. Gleria was appointed by the Chief United States District Judge in 2004 to serve as the CJA Panel Attorney Representative for the District of New Mexico, and continues to serve in this capacity to the present day.
Kenneth Gleria has extensive experience in the New Mexico State Courts and has handled over 4000 cases in New Mexico District Courts, Metropolitan Court, and Magistrate and Municipal Court. Mr. Gleria practices State-wide and has appeared in nearly every courthouse in New Mexico. Mr. Gleria is a member the New Mexico Supreme Court, and he is regularly appointed by the Judges of the Bernalillo County District Court to arbitrate case resolutions.
