Michael Laws has been a criminal attorney for 23 years. He was a prosecutor for 8 years in Yakima County and then decided to become a criminal defense attorney in 2009. Prior to law school, Mr. Laws obtained his M.S.W. and worked in the mental health field for 4 years. He is the owner and director of Mountain Law, PLLC. He is proud that Mountain Law did more jury trials in its first full year of operation than the prior public defense team had done in the previous 5 years combined.
