Rashad Moore was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he was raised by his two parents Michael and Elizabeth Moore. Rashad Moore has one younger sister who is currently enrolled in high school and plans to attend college upon graduation. Rashad graduated from Charlotte Christian School in high school and, upon graduation, attended East Carolina University. While attending ECU, Rashad was able to obtain his Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology, while minoring in Political Science. Even though enrolled at ECU full-time, Rashad was able to assist and intern with several reputable law firms and attorneys of notoriety, covering a wide range of traffic, misdemeanor, and felony criminal cases.
After Rashad graduated from ECU, he decided that his studies were not complete and enrolled in graduate school at the University Of North Carolina Central School Of Law. Mr. Moore’s passion for litigation, and representation of underrepresented and underappreciated parties, began at NCCU. During Mr. Moore’s tenure at NCCU, he served and competed at the highest level on the Trial Advocacy Board. Attorney Moore completed his studies at NCCU by graduating Cum Laude.
After obtaining his Juris Doctor, Mr. Moore went on to work as an Assistant District Attorney in Guilford County. It was at the District Attorney’s office where Rashad prosecuted all types of misdemeanor crimes such as assaults, gun cases, marijuana, domestic violence violations, and driving while impaired cases or DWI’s. After spending time in the District Attorney’s Office, Mr. Moore went on to private practice where he became an associate attorney at Schlosser and Pritchett Criminal Defense Team. It was here that Rashad learned how to handle superior court cases as it pertained to more serious felonies. Business North Carolina Legal Elite recognized Mr. Moore for his practice of Criminal Law in 2020. Rashad spent much of his time in private practice handling the firm’s misdemeanor clientele as well as civil domestic violence protective orders, traffic tickets and expunctions.
Even before Mr. Moore was an attorney, he recognized the importance of solid legal representation and the importance of preserving a clean criminal record. Attorney Moore has dedicated a large portion of his time to educating and defending young adults, all while zealously representing clients from all walks of life.
