Residing in Texas for the past two decades, Butch Dunbar originally hails from Arkansas. He accomplished his Bachelor of Science degree in Sociology at the University of Central Arkansas in 1990. Before obtaining his Juris Doctor degree in 1999 from the Texas Wesleyan School of Law in Fort Worth, he worked as a Dallas Police Officer for a decade. His legal practice covers a broad spectrum, including family, probate, criminal, and business litigation. He holds admission to practice in Texas, as well as the U.S. District Courts in the Eastern District of Texas and the Western District of Arkansas.
Mr. Dunbar is actively engaged in his community, having contributed his services to various organizations. Notably, he has been involved with the Macedonia Eylau Municipal Water District, the Liberty-Eylau Independent School District Board of Trustees, the Administrative Council of Williams United Methodist Church, the Board of Directors of the Liberty-Eylau Volunteer Fire Department, and the Texarkana Volunteer Center.
