Harold Kokes – Pleasantville Family Lawyer

I have been practicing law in New Jersey since 1981. After clerking for the Hon. Merrit J. Lane, A.J.S.C.; Hon. Julia L. Ashbey, J.A.D. t/a, J.S.C. and Hon. Burton L. Fundler, J.S.C., I became an Assistant Deputy Public Defender with the State of New Jersey, Office of the Public Defender (Atlantic Region). I then became an Associate Trial Lawyer for Cape May County’s oldest Law Firm, Loveland, Garrett, Russell, and Young, before establishing a partnership in 1989.

Since 1992, I have been Certified by the New Jersey Supreme Court as a Certified Criminal Trial Attorney. For the past twenty-one years, I have owned my solo practice in Ocean City, New Jersey. I am honest and personable. With over thirty-five years of experience serving the Jersey Shore Bench and Bar, I personally handle each client’s file and keep each client notified at all times of any and all issues that may arise in their matters by supplying them with copies of all documents, letters, etc. If the need arises, I am available after hours and on weekends. I have an extremely competent staff which includes my Office Manager, Diane; my Administrative Assistant, Lew; and my Legal Assistant, Tracy.
