An East Coast native, James DeVecchio was born and raised in the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. James earned his Bachelor of Arts degree from Salisbury University in 2009, double majoring in history and psychology.
Upon graduating from college, James enlisted in the United States Army. James joined the Army as an airborne infantryman and served in Afghanistan with the 4th Brigade Combat Team, 25th Infantry Division. After graduation, James moved to Douglas County and worked as a Deputy District Attorney for the Douglas County District Attorney’s Office. After obtaining extensive trial experience, James moved into private practice and founded DeVecchio Law, LLC. James’ goal is to ensure his clients are provided the best representation possible and to be a fierce advocate on their behalf.
In his spare time, James enjoys distance running, spending time with his two Great Pyrenees, and enjoying everything Douglas County has to offer.
