Mark A. Casassa was born in 1958 and raised in Alexandria, Virginia, in the suburbs of Washington, DC. Casassa graduated from Mt. Vernon High School in 1976 and received a degree in Criminal Justice from Old Dominian University in 1981. Mark Casassa is a 1983 graduate of Stetson University College of Law and became a member of the Florida Bar in May of 1984.
Mark worked as an Assistant State Attorney in the 20th Judicial Circuit in Naples, Florida, from 1984 until 1986 when he entered private practice. The Law Offices of Mark A. Casassa was originally founded in 1988 and has assumed various forms to the present day specializing in criminal defense. Mark is a member of the Association of Trial Lawyers of America, the American Bar Association, the United States District Court for both the Middle and South Districts of Florida. Casassa has been admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States of America since 2001.
Mark is a member of the Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and the Collier County Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers.
