Yemi Kings – Jackson Criminal Lawyer

Yemi L. Kings is a life-long resident of Jackson, MS. Yemi was born and raised in the Georgetown neighborhood in Jackson, MS. He is the founder of Kings & Associates, LLC and is a dedicated member of the community.

Yemi is a proud graduate of Lanier High School in Jackson Mississippi He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Tougaloo College and Juris Doctor Degree from the Thurgood Marshall School of Law, in 2009, where he was a Deans List Scholar and American Jurisprudence Award recipient.

Yemi is a former Assistant Hinds County Public Defender. During his tenure as a Public Defender, he handled over 400 felony cases. Yemi is also a licensed Real Estate Broker and Property Manager. Yemi currently serves as Deputy Hinds County Prosecutor in Jackson, MS where he works tirelessly to protect the public from violent and dangerous offenders by helping to ensure that they are held accountable in a court of law. Yemi was also a candidate for Hinds County Court Judge in 2018.
